Lemon Ginger Tea with Jaggery


Lemon Ginger Tea is a refreshing herbal beverage that is made using ginger roots. This herbal tea helps in reducing throat irritations and is also a natural pain reliever, especially for the exercise - induced muscle soreness. Be it post your early morning jog or chilled rainy evenings, this beverage is always a best choice.

INGREDIENTS
  • Tea powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Water - 2 glass
  • Jaggery, powdered - 1 and 1/2 tbsp
  • Cardamom - 1
  • Ginger, smashed - 1tsp
  • Lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
  • Mint leaves- optional
    INSTRUCTIONS
  • Boil 2 glasses of water in a saucepan
  • Add the tea powder, ginger paste, cardamom and powdered jaggery
  • Let it boil for 5-7 mins
  • After 7 min, transfer it to a cup. Add lemon juice and mint leaves(optional)
Serve it hot :)
