Soya Chunks Curry is a flavour-filled dish made with soya chunks cooked in Indian sauce. This protein-rich curry is not only easy to prepare but also a very healthy dish to have. It is best served with Malabar parotas.

INGREDIENTS
- Soya chunks, cooked - 120 gm
- Oil - 1 tsp
- Jeera/Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Onions, small size, finely chopped - 1 nos
- Tomatoes, finely chopped - 1 and half
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 and half tsp
- Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
- Ghee - 2 tsp
- Curd - 3 tsp
- Basin/gram flour - 2 tsp
- Salt to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- Take a pan and add 1tsp of oil in medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add cumin seeds. Once they start crackling,add the chopped onions.
- Add turmeric powder and saute until the onions are golden brown.
- Now add the ginger garlic paste. Saute until the raw smell of the paste is gone.
- Add the chopped tomatoes. Saute until the tomatoes are mushy.
- Add chilli powder, garam masala, basin, salt and curd. Mix it well. And then add ghee and give it a mix.
- Now add 50ml of water, add the cooked soya chunks and mix it well.
- Close the lid and let it cook for 5-7 mins.
And there it goes! Tasty soya chunks curry ready to eat.
